Our Story

What started as a few conversations quickly became something neither of us could ignore. From our very first date, we felt an instant connection. The kind where hours pass too quickly and you leave already excited for the next time you’ll see each other. Even though we lived in different cities, Washington DC and Toronto suddenly did not feel so far apart.

What followed was a love story built on countless flights, delayed departures, late-night phone calls, and weekends spent together whenever we could make it happen. Between busy work schedules and time apart, we kept choosing each other again and again. Every airport reunion made the distance worth it and with every trip our relationship grew stronger.

Along the way, we made memories everywhere we went. From wandering through New York City to sunny trips in Florida and unforgettable adventures in Mexico City, every place became special because we experienced it together. Then during cherry blossom season in Washington DC, Sanmeet asked the easiest question of his life and together we began our next chapter.

What started long distance became forever. We are so grateful for every mile, every memory, and every moment that brought us here. We cannot wait to celebrate the beginning of forever with all of you.
